At Xenova Digital, we understand the importance of your personal information. This Privacy Policy aims to explain how Xenova Digital collects, uses, and shares it. This Privacy Policy applies to Xenova Digital websites, mobile apps, and related services (“Services”). By using the Service, you agree with Xenova Digital’s collection, use, and sharing of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.


Please note that Xenova Digital is constantly testing and improving our product features. Any features discussed in this Privacy Policy may not be available to all users or in all jurisdictions per the laws and regulations set in said jurisdictions.

Our online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our Services, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.

For Free Tier users who are served Google Ads, Xenova Digital permits third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies on our Services for analytics and advertising, including to help manage and display advertisements, to tailor advertisements to your interests, or to send abandoned shopping cart reminders (depending on your communication preferences). The third parties and service providers use their technology to provide advertising about products and services tailored to your interests which may appear either on our Services or on other websites.

6. HOW DO Xenova Digital HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?

In Short: If you choose to register or log in to our Services using a social media account (i.e. logging in with Google), Xenova Digital may have access to certain information about you.

Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Google login). Where you choose to do this, Xenova Digital will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. This profile information Xenova Digital receives may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, and profile picture, as well as other information you choose to make public on such a social media platform.

Xenova Digital will use the information Xenova Digital receives only for the purposes that are described in this Privacy Policy or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services. Please note that Xenova Digital do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. Xenova Digital recommends that you review their privacy notice to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information, and how you can set your privacy preferences on their sites and apps.

7. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?

In Short: Xenova Digital is based in Canada and our services are operated from Canada. If you access or use Axioma Scholar from outside Canada, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, processed in, or accessed from Canada. Some of our service providers may also process, store, or access your information from locations outside your home jurisdiction or internationally based on the operations of the service provider.

Xenova Digital collects and processes certain information, including session duration, platform engagement data, algorithm interaction data, account information, and other information provided by users, to operate, maintain, improve, and secure Axioma Scholar. Xenova Digital uses reasonable administrative, technical, organizational, and security safeguards designed to protect personal information. User passwords are protected using encryption and other industry-standard security measures. Passwords are not stored in plain text, and Xenova Digital cannot view or disclose users’ original passwords.

In some jurisdictions, Axioma Scholar may be subject to supplemental privacy policies, privacy notices, or local laws. For users in those jurisdictions, the applicable supplemental privacy policies, privacy notices, or local laws will apply to the extent required by law and will take precedence over this Privacy Policy to the extent they conflict with this Privacy Policy.

By using Axioma Scholar, you understand that your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, processed in, or accessed from Canada or other jurisdictions as described in this Privacy Policy.

8. HOW LONG DO Xenova Digital KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

In Short: Xenova Digital keeps your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required  by law.

Xenova Digital will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When Xenova Digital have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, Xenova Digital will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then Xenova Digital will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

9. DO Xenova Digital COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In Short: Yes, Axioma Scholar collects personal information from users who are 13 years of age or older. Xenova Digital do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian consent.

Axioma Scholar is designed for students and may collect personal information from users who are 13 or older to provide the Services, personalize curriculum, track learning progress, display user statistics, maintain account security, and improve the platform. In accordance with Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Xenova Digital collects, use, and disclose personal information only for identified purposes and with meaningful consent.

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada has stated that children under 13 are generally unable to provide meaningful consent on their own. For this reason, Xenova Digital asks users to provide their full date of birth during account creation to confirm that they meet our minimum age requirement. If Xenova Digital learns that Xenova Digital have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian consent, Xenova Digital will take reasonable steps to deactivate the account and delete the information, unless Xenova Digital are legally required or permitted to retain it.

In some cases, withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use certain features of Axioma Scholar, including features that rely on personal information to provide personalized curriculum, progress tracking, account access, or your personalized statistics dashboard.

Account information: If you would like to review, update, correct, or change the information in your account, or if you would like to terminate your account, you may do so through your Settings page where available or by contacting us using the contact details provided in the section “HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?” below.

Upon your request to terminate your account, Xenova Digital will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases, subject to applicable Canadian privacy laws and any other applicable legal requirements. However, Xenova Digital may retain certain information where necessary to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, enforce our legal terms or agreements, maintain platform security, resolve disputes, keep records of consent or account activity, comply with legal obligations, or protect the rights of Xenova Digital, our users, or others.

You may update or correct certain information, exercise certain opt-out rights, and delete your Xenova Digital account through your Settings page where available. You may also request to access, correct, export, or erase your personal information, delete your account, withdraw consent, or make another privacy-related request by contacting us at contact@axiomascholar.com.

Please note that these rights are not absolute. Xenova Digital may refuse or limit a request to exercise data subject rights where permitted or required by law, including where Xenova Digital cannot authenticate your identity, where fulfilling the request could violate the rights of a third party or applicable law, where the request could interfere with a Xenova Digital service or prevent us from delivering a service you requested, or where Xenova Digital have another legitimate reason to retain or process the information.

11. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, Xenova Digital do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that Xenova Digital must follow in the future, Xenova Digital will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

Xenova Digital is not liable for any third-party data tracking that takes place through advertisements accessed through the service.

12. AXIOMA SCHOLAR FOR SCHOOLS

In short: If you use Axioma Scholar through a school or with a school-associated email address, your school may receive monthly reports about your use of the Service, either by class or by individual student, depending on the school’s reporting preferences.

If you access or register for Axioma Scholar using an email address associated with a school, school district, university, or other educational institution, your account may be connected to that institution. In such cases, Xenova Digital may share information associated with your account with the educational institution, including usage activity, session duration, engagement data, progress information, performance insights, and other information related to your use of Axioma Scholar.

Educational institutions may receive monthly reports regarding student use of Axioma Scholar. These reports may be provided on a class-wide basis or on an individual student basis, depending on the educational institution’s discretion, policies, and selected reporting preferences. By using Axioma Scholar through an educational institution or with an institution-associated email address, you acknowledge that information connected to your account may be made available to that institution.

13. DO Xenova Digital MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?

In Short: Yes, Xenova Digital will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

Xenova Digital may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date at the top of this Privacy Notice. If Xenova Digital makes material changes to this Privacy Notice, Xenova Digital will notify you with a notice sent directly to the email associated with your account.
